Bajaj Discover 135 DTS-i Review
On September, 2008 Bajaj launched Discover 135 DTS-i, the sleek looking upgraded version of Bajaj Discover 125cc. The bike comes with digital Twin Spark ignition system and Nitro X shock absorbers. There are three variants of the Discover 135 DTS-I that includes top-end Sports model, which comes equipped with a 240mm diameter front disc brake and Nitrox gas suspension on the rear. The Sports model also features a wider rear tyre and striped-decals on the wheels. Other two variants to choose from are the Electric Start version and the Kick Start version.
Looks and Style
The four colour options of Blue, Red, Grey and Black. Discover 135 DTS-i comes with striking graphics, racer breed tank spoilers with integrated indicators, Digital meter console, headlamp visor and racing style wheel stripes along with wider rear tyre. The new tachometer, wider rear tyre, fuel gauge and a trip meter show the style statement of the bike. The silver engine of Discover has also been powder-coated black in the 135 cc variant and gives the bike a compelling look
Performance
Bajaj Discover 135 DTS-i has a 4-stroke air cooled engine. The capacity of the engine is 134.21cc that allows a maximum power of 13.1Ps @ 8500 rpm and torque to the engine of 11.88Nm @ 6500rpm. The bike is a little heavier than its younger brother the Bajaj Discover 125cc but with enhancement in power. The pick of the bike is very good and can reach the top speed of 105 kph, with a reasonable good grip on the road. The design and placement of seat and the handle bars offer a good rider comfort for long drives, while the new suspension of the bike is sturdy on bumpy roads offering a smooth ride.
