Bajaj Pulsar 220 DTS-i is aimed at the performance bikers who are looking for a thrilling ride experience, this bike comes with many power packed features – auto choke, clip-on handle bar, split seats, engine oil cooler, fuel and battery charge indicators, etc. It also uses temperature based ignition mapping system through which the ignition timing is optimized to achieve good stability, quick warm up and outstanding torque.
Looks and Style
Bajaj Pulsar 220 DTS-i comes in 4 colour options of Silver, Blue, Red and Black. Apart from the new engine parts, the new 220 DTS-i also receives an all black engine treatment, better gearbox with reworked gear ratios, stickier rubber, better suspension, more powerful brakes and larger oil cooler. This is a great looking bike, although the tail end gives a feel of older pulsar. Still the bike holds an impressive all black styling, 3D chiselled logo, vertical stack twin projector headlamps, split seats, clip-on handle bar, giving it a formidable look.
Performance
The bike is powered by a four stroke, DTS-i, air & oil cooled engine having a capacity of 220 cc. Maximum power produced by the bike is 21.04 PS at an early 8500 rpm with the peak torque output of 19.12 Nm zipping at 7000 rpm.
